Just an update...

I am not doing good with keeping my camera on me or even posting. So even though I don't have any pictures, I thought I would update you all on what we've been doing. This weekend my Dad and StepMom came to visit. They got here Thursday night and cleaned our house for us while we were at work on Friday. They even went grocery shopping for me, too. What a blessing! Brad has been working himself to death trying to keep the house straight, so it was so nice to come to a clean home. Thanks Dad and Vickie!!!! Friday night we all went to eat at PF Chang's. It was soooo yummy. We all really enjoyed it. If you are going to go, you must call for reservations or you will be waiting for a long time. And go with a group so you can order several things and share. We also went to some baby stores to look at bedding and beds. We won't find out what we are having until the end of October, but we just wanted to look. I am 15 weeks along or 4&1/2 months. I have been feeling so much better for the last week and a half. I hope that means I am in the clear. I will go to the doctor on Thursday. Tonight we went to a suprise party for our friend John Cross who turned 30! Happy Birthday John! We also were able to see all our friends adorable little children. They are all growing so fast and they are so much fun! I have to say though that Elias is the fastest - go Chrissie go!!! Brad said he was that fast when he was little, so I guess I better enjoy sitting down while I can.

What's been going on...

I know it has been a while since I have posted. So I thought I would post some of the things we've been doing this past month.

Last weekend I took a trip back home to throw a baby shower for my high school friend, Brooke. Brooke and I also roomed together all through college, so we have definitely experienced a lot of life together. Although we don't get to see each other often, it is always good when we do get to hang out. Brooke's is having a baby girl in November. I can't wait to meet baby Haidyn. Here are a few pics from the shower.

Our decorations with the yummy food that Brooke's sister, Shelley, made. She and her husband run a restaurant in Houston, TX called the District 77 Grill. If you live there you should check it out, because the food was great!

More of our decorations. I used those itsy bitsy balls from Hobby Lobby to fill clear vases instead of flowers. They were very cute and can be reusable. I also stocked up on red and green for Christmas.

A couple of weekends ago Brad and headed to his hometown for his sister's wedding. Here are a few picks from the outside wedding in a Japanese Garden.
