Ford's 1st swim lesson...

This past Thursday Ford had his 1st swim lesson. He really seemed to enjoy it. I think he was actually more interested in talking to the other kids in the group than actually doing the activities, but he worked very hard. He worked so hard he fell asleep on the way home.

I have so many more Christmas pictures I want to post. I made a slideshow, but can't get it to load. I know Christmas is way over, but I may be posting all our pics well into Feb. I mean it is our first Christmas as parents.

Our Little Santa

This is Ford on Christmas Eve. Thanks Thomas for letting us borrow your Santa suit. I kept trying to get Ford to sit in front of the tree for a picture, but all he wanted to do was crawl to Brad and the camera.

Opening Presents

Here are a few pics of Ford opening presents. He wasn't as into all the boxes and wrapping as I thought he would be, but did seem to like the toys. As you can see he has a lot of different facial expressions. I guess I'll teach him to smile when opening gifts later on.

Picking a Christmas Tree

The weekend after Thanksgiving we went to the Christmas Tree farm to pick out a Christmas tree. Here are a few picks of the experience. Ford did help me decorate. He played in his excersaucer next to me while I decorated it. We put Christmas music on, too. I let Ford touch the lights and ornaments before I put the on the tree. He was soo excited with each one. He didn't get into the tree at all, but of course I took him up to it several times to let him touch it with me right there. I finally took it down today - I was soooo sad.

Visits with Santa

Ford went to visit Santa twice. The first time Santa gave him a cookie and yes he got to eat it. The second time Santa gave him a candy cane and yes he got to eat it, too. A little sugar isn't going to hurt. I mean it is Christmas time.
