This past Monday my friend Amy gave birth to her sweet little baby boy-Matthew Anthony D'Alfonso. My other friend, Bree, and I took flowers to the little mommy, but when we walked in to give her the flowers our plans changed quickly. Amy's first born - Ainsley - was sitting on the cot next to Amy trying to take a nap when we walked in to the room. She of course popped up and had a big grin on her face looking at the flowers in our arms, so she became the receiver of the flowers. She is only two but was so excited! She said, "Look Mommy I got flowers." I smiled at Amy and she grinned back as we were both just glad Ainsley was happy. Ainsley had been just a little uneasy about her new baby brother's arrival, so I'm glad the flowers helped her feel special, too. Matthew is so handsome and I know Ainsley will be a wonderful big sister! Congratulations Amy and Brian!!!
