I am so sorry it has been so long since we have posted. We have had Internet problems for the past couple of weeks. I have been on the phone with Dell two times who did not help me. I finally figured it out myself the other day.We have lots of good news to report about Ford!!! Last week when we went for his 2 week check up he was not back to his birth weight and had started spitting up a lot after every feeding. I had to start feeding him for only 20 minute periods every two hours. I also had to try to keep him upright and still for about 30 minutes after each feeding. That gave me only about an hour to rest or eat for myself. We also started him on some very expensive acid reflux medicine to see if that was the reason for the spitting up. To say the least I was still just worried that he was growing as needed.
We had to go back to the doctor this past Wednesday to get Ford's weight checked again and ...he was above his birth weight - 8lbs. 5 oz. - yeah!!! What a relief for mommy and daddy. The doctor also told us that I could start waiting every three hours during the day to feed him and let him sleep as long as he would at night. I felt like a new woman. I mean that extra hour in between feeding sure does help out a lot. He also slept for 7 hours Wednesday night! I kept waking up every hour to make sure he was breathing. But then last night he woke up every three hours - oh well. One night of 7 hours was good enough for us. I'm sure he will start sleeping longer more consistently soon enough.
This has been my first week by myself. Everything is going well. I still look horrible and don't feel like I get much done during the day, but I guess feeding and changing Ford is a lot. All in all I am so thankful to be able to be at home with Ford during this time. Here are some pics from the last few weeks.

Daddy is already reading to me. Can't you tell I am so in to it?

My half smile - isn't it cute!

Look, I can hold my own paci.

That stinks! Oh wait that's me.

Daddy always spends time with me before he leaves for work!
