This was our first official long family vacation with Ford. We were very thankful to be able to go with Brad's brother and family to enjoy the beach. I knew it would be different with a little one but of course it was still very different than even what I expected. We had a good time, but there was not much relaxing time in the sun with a good book for me. Now it's all about playing in the sand with Ford and watching his face as he discovers new things. It took us all to get everything to the beach and set up for Ford each day - tent, toys, mini pool, towels, lunch, sunscreen, etc.... And of course we always left something - mostly snacks for ourselves which we needed by the time we got set up. The beach was beautiful and Ford really enjoyed himself.
