Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day I woke Brad up with a cup of coffee from a cup I painted him at Fat Cat Ceramics and breakfast. I tried to make a heart shaped egg, but it didn't work. He was thankful for the breakfast, though. I also put a card and picture at his place at the table.

For Valentine's night Brad and I decided to stay in. I decided to be in charge of dessert, so I made chocolate covered strawberries and grapes. They were soooo good. I almost made myself sick eating them. If you have never had chocolate covered grapes, you are definitely missing out. One of Brad's cousins, TJ, let me try some one time and I have been hooked ever since. Thanks TJ!

Brad was of course in charge of dinner, so while he cooked I enjoyed a bubble bath. We had a yummy saffron risotto with shrimp and swordfish topped with steamed asparagus. We even used our china and lit some candles. I really enjoyed being able to eat my fine dining meal in my favorite very soft robe. It was a very relaxing and yummy night. Thanks Brad for a wonderful day! I love you very much!
