My dad came to visit with his best friend Mr. Buddy. They spent the day at the capitol yesterday with some of our state senators and representatives. Brad and I went to eat with them last night at Walker's Drive-In downtown. I like the uniqueness of Walker's because it is an old drive-in they've made into a nice restaurant and they have wonderful food. This morning my dad and Mr. Buddy came to my school to talk with our director about ways they might could help out the school since they are both in retirement mode. This is a picture of Mr. Buddy, my dad, and me in my classroom this morning. I toured them around to all the rooms to see how amazing it is that completely deaf children can learn to talk and listen. Thanks daddy and Mr. Buddy for taking interest in what I've put my heart into for the past five years!
