1-Ford's voice-Today Ford and I drove home from visiting Grandparents. As we were driving, he would want me to hand him his paci or milk. I had several times given him these things and picked them up. But toward the end of the trip he was dropping the things and I couldn't see them. This is how the conversation would then go...
Ford-"Mommy Paci"
Me-"Ford, I don't see it. I'm driving and I can't find it right now."
Ford-"PACI Mommy PACI"
Me-"Ford I'm driving. I don't know where it is."
Ford -(as he lifts his legs and pats on the middle of his carseat)"RIGH HER! RIGH HER Mommy." (for right here)
I just thought it was the funniest thing. It wasn't right there, but I guess he could see it from there and I couldn't. We repeated this conversation for about the last 30 minutes or more of the drive multiple times. What a gift - a conversation with my little boy.
2-Hug- Ford loves to say "Hug Mommy" or "Hug Daddy" and hold his arms out wide. He was full of hugs tonight for Brad and I both. He even wanted all three of us to hug together many times tonight too. He would say, "Mommy, Daddy Hug" and hold his arms out then push us together. Brad has been out of town, so I guess Ford was making up for the lost hug times.
